The Consortium advocates for the inclusion of adults with intellectual disabilities and their caregivers in dementia planning and services across Canada. Our focus is on developing an understanding of dementia and key strategies to enhance quality of life. We are connected to a large, international network and continue to also build our links to Canadian associations.

The curriculum provides the latest, evidence based information about dementia and support strategies. Successful three day attendees become part of a community of learners and are invaluable resources for their organizations and communities. They also have ongoing access to Master Trainers.
