Why Consider Hosting the NTG Canada Dementia Curriculum?

Does your organization support older-aged adults with an intellectual disability, some of whom may have dementia? Does your staff team require training on this topic?

Aging and dementia are growing topics of concern in the disability service sector. There are very few training opportunities in Canada, focused specifically on dementia as it affects adults with intellectual disabilities.

Hosting a NTG-Canadian Consortium workshop allows multiple agencies to send staff to a training, it helps create a provincial network of trainers where everyone can brainstorm ideas and approaches to improve support, collaborate and learn from each other.
